Nigel Eberhardt lives, and has grown up on the North West Coast of Tasmania. It is this natural, tranquil and ever changing environment that continues to inspire his love of photography.

Studying photography at the University of Tasmania in Hobart for a year, Nigel received very successful results. Apart from this introduction into film, he is self taught.

Nigel was first inspired to take photographs thanks to his love of surfing and the ocean. Travelling through parts of Canada, Europe, USA, UK and Egypt added another dimension and created unique opportunities for his interpretations of the landscape.

Having purchased a water housing this year Nigel is now able to pursue his passion of surf photography without being restricted to land.

Nigel is focusing on the natural beauty of the state of Tasmania and hopes that you will enjoy viewing his expanding gallery of photographs.
